Pre-construction notice for new pedestrian crossover in Lincoln

Niagara Region is building a new pedestrian crossover on King Street (Regional Road 81) at William Street in Lincoln.

Sid Grabell Contracting Limited is carrying out the work on behalf of Niagara Region.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the coming weeks and is expected to be complete by the end of summer, weather permitting.

We will make every effort to maintain access to nearby properties and minimize inconvenience to businesses, residents and pedestrians.

While construction is taking place, the work may affect driveway access in the construction area. Those affected will have advance notice whenever possible. Niagara Region staff or staff appointed on our behalf will contact those with driveway entrances affected to discuss details for each property.

During the project, single lanes may be closed as necessary to complete the work. Expect some congestion and delays. Pedestrians are reminded to take extra care when walking through the construction zone.
