Road closure for St. Paul Street West (Regional Road 81) in St. Catharines

Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, until further notice
 
St. Paul Street West (Regional Road 81) from Pelham Road and Louth Street (Regional Road 72) in St. Catharines will be closed to through traffic. The road closure is for the St. Paul Street West - CN Rail Bridge Replacement. The road will stay closed while the existing bridge is removed and replaced.
 
Detour
  • Westbound traffic: St. Paul Street West > Pelham Road > Louth Street (Regional Road 72)
  • Eastbound traffic: St. Paul Street West > Louth Street > Pelham Road (Regional Road 69)
 
Businesses and residents between Pelham Road and Louth Street will have access up to St. Paul Street West from either direction but will not have access to cross the bridge. Businesses will stay open at all times.
 
Emergency services will have access through the detour routes.
