Notice of Public Information Centre #1 for Rosehill Water Treatment Plant in Fort Erie
Niagara Region is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Addendum for the Rosehill Water Treatment Plant new intake and outfall. The Rosehill Water Treatment Plant is located at 300 Rosehill Road in the Town of Fort Erie.
Process
This study is being carried out in accordance with the ‘Schedule B’ Class Environmental Assessment, as outlined by the Municipal Engineers Association.
At the completion of the Class Environmental Assessment Addendum, a Project File Report will be filed for public and agency review. A Notice of Completion will be issued at that stage. Subject to comments received and the receipt of necessary approvals, Niagara Region intends to proceed with the construction of these projects.

Niagara Region encourages the public to participate in this planning process. Information about the project will be made available on Niagara Region’s website as part of Public Information Centre #1.
It will provide an overview of the study, including the problem and opportunities to be addressed, existing conditions within the study area, the alternative solutions and evaluation criteria considered, as well as the recommended alternative solution.
