Pay a Ticket or Fine
You can pay the total payable amount indicated on your ticket, including traffic tickets, online, by phone, in person or by mail.

When you can pay
Payment for red light camera tickets and automated speed enforcement can only be made three business days after the 'Date of Deemed Service'.
All other tickets will be available for payment three to seven days from the day you receive your ticket.
Part III summons
A Part III summons has a mandatory court date. Payments cannot be made online. Contact the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse to arrange payment.
Pay your ticket
To pay your ticket online, click the 'Pay a ticket or fine' button.
You will need to indicate:
- What you're paying: Provincial Offences Act ticket, notice of fine and due date, red light camera ticket or automated speed enforcement ticket
- Offence number

Pay in person at the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse, 445 East Main St., Welland.

Parking tickets from city / town
The Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse does not handle parking tickets. Parking tickets must be paid at the city / town that issued the ticket.

- I need more time to pay my fine
To request more time to pay, complete the Application for Extension of Time to Pay Fine and submit the form for consideration to the court office by:
- Email to POAInfo@niagararegion.ca; or
- In person at the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse
Your request will be reviewed and a decision will be made within two weeks.
It is your responsibility to contact the court office to find out the status of your request.
- Penalties for not paying a fine
Not paying your fine could result in:
- Additional court and administrative costs
- Licence suspension
- Licence plate denial
- Referred to third party collection agencies
- Legal action
- Adding delinquent fines to property tax roll
- Licence suspension and licence plate renewal
If your licence is suspended, contact the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse to determine if there are any outstanding fines. Fines suspending your licence must be paid in full.
You may pay the applicable fine and reinstatement fee at a Service Ontario location. You will then be able to reinstate your driver's licence the same day if there are no other outstanding requirements or restrictions.
If you are certain that you have no outstanding fines, but your licence is suspended, contact the Ministry of Transportation, Driver Control at 1-800-303-4993.
If you can't renew your licence plate due to an outstanding fine, pay the fine at the Niagara Region Provincial Offences Courthouse or at any Service Ontario location.
If your outstanding fine is a parking offence, contact the city / town in which you received the parking offence or pay your fine(s) at any Service Ontario location.
