While each of our homes is a little unique, all our homes offer:

Telephone, hairdressing/barber services, dental care, foot care, in-room internet service and cable are available at an extra cost.
Activities
A range of recreation, leisure and social activities are offered at all our homes which cater to your individual needs and interests and help you keep physically, socially and intellectually active. Your family members are welcome to join you in participating.
Individual activities may include:
- Crosswords
- Reading
- Number puzzles
- Using a computer
Small group activities may include:
- News/discussion groups
- Storytelling
- Games such as trivia, bingo, cards
- Music
- Exercise
Large group activities may include:
- Holiday and birthday celebrations
- Theme parties
- Barbecues and picnics
- Movies
- Worship services
Outings may include:
- Shopping
- Dining
- Theatre
- Casino
- Church events
- Tours such as fall colours, Christmas lights, spring blossoms
Our Auxiliaries are also very active in planning social activities and fundraisers within our homes in addition to operating the gift/tuck shops.
Visiting volunteers from community groups may offer:
- Palliative care visiting
- Pet visits
- Therapeutic touch
Rehabilitation
Ambulation programs, active exercises, stretching, bed exercise and one-to-one treatments by rehabilitation staff increase and maintain your independence and mobility. If rehabilitation, physio or occupational therapy is part of your care requirement, staff will work with a physiotherapist to carry out your treatment plan.
