Road Use Permit Application Forms
Permit processing may be delayed due to office closures over the holidays.

Moving oversized / overweight loads
Required for moving an over dimensional or heavy loaded vehicle (including double decker buses) on regional roads -
Construction encroachment
Required for any work to be completed on or below a regional road allowance -
Entrance permit
Required for any private road entranceway, driveway, gate or facility constructed as a means of access to a regional road -
Sign permit
Required for placing a sign notice or advertising device within 20 m from centerline of a regional road

Road occupancy permits
Required for any item that will be installed and remain on a regional road allowance for a period of time. -
Road use for special events
Permit required to use a road for parades and other events -
Traffic data requests
Request information to analyze information pertaining to traffic engineering and safety studies impacting traffic on Niagara Region roadways -
Application for detouring
Required when any work taking place not on regional roads requires a full road closure and requires traffic to be diverted / detoured onto regional roads
