Advisory committee
The development and implementation of the Region's plan is guided by a multi-sectoral advisory committee with representatives from across the human services system.
Provincial mandate and Council alignment
As of Jan. 1, 2019, the Police Services Act requires municipalities to develop and adopt community safety and well-being plans.
Our plan aligns with Council's strategic priority of ensuring an Equitable Region. The Region seeks to provide opportunities for a safe and inclusive Niagara by listening and responding to our community needs and planning for future growth.
