About the project

The Wilhelm Road Bridge is on Wilhelm Road (Regional Road 98) in Port Colborne. The bridge is about 400 metres south of Forks Road East and crosses the Canadian National Railway tracks. Niagara Region plans to rehabilitate the bridge.

Design work began in 2025 and construction is planned for 2026, pending permit approvals.

An online Public Information Centre will be held before construction begins.

The public will be notified of any impacts to vehicle and pedestrian traffic as the project moves forward.
