Protect you and your family
- Wear light coloured clothes to spot ticks
- Use insect repellents that contain DEET or Icaridin. Always follow the instructions.
- Check your full body, including your children and pets, for ticks and shower within two hours to remove ticks before they can attach to the skin
- After spending time outdoors in forested or long grass areas, remove outdoor clothing as soon as you come indoors and put the clothes into a hot dryer for at least 15 minutes before washing them
