Goals

In facilitating this lesson, the teacher will:

  • Explain cannabis and its appeal to youth
  • Describe the risks of using cannabis
  • Teach students appropriate facts related to cannabis use

Objectives

By the end of this lesson, students will:

  • Identify existing knowledge about recreational cannabis
  • Gain foundational knowledge about cannabis use among youth
  • Be able to describe the risks of using cannabis and understand ways to refuse its use
  • Gain an understanding of legislation
