Water Attitude - Niagara Children's Virtual Water Festival

Water Attitude Activities

Having a positive attitude toward water and nature is really important. Learn about sorting your waste, animal habitats and how to use water wisely.

Activity 1: Keep It Clean

How can properly sorting and disposing of our waste help water? Litter can make its way into the water system and then to our creeks, rivers, lakes and oceans.

Activity: Water Walk
Next time you go for a walk, carry a large container of water with you. How does this change your walk?

Activity: Save H20
As you've seen, there's a limited amount of water available for everyone on the Earth to use. Sometimes, even if water is available, it's very hard to find, carry and clean. That's why it's really important not to waste it.

Do you have ideas on how you could conserve water where you live? For example, take shorter showers and turn off the sink while brushing your teeth.
