From Sept. 25 - 30, Niagara residents can collect one to three bags of compost during regular business hours (while quantities last). Each bag of compost is 20 litres in size.
In exchange for the compost, residents are asked to donate non-perishable food items or cash in support of one of these local charities:
- Fort Erie COPE (Community Outreach Program Erie)
- West Lincoln Community Care
- Salvation Army Thrift Store
- The HOPE Centre
- Goodwill Niagara
Expired food items are not accepted.
