Fares

Front door boarding will resume June 29 and paid fares are required starting July 2.

Niagara College has opted out of the U-Pass program, so starting July 2, students are required to pay adult fares.

Your fare allows you to travel in one continuous direction along the shortest route, making as many transfers as needed to reach your destination.

Passes will be available for purchase at the following locations:

  • Morrison / Dorchester Hub, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (contactless fare payments only)

  • St. Catharines Bus Terminal, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10:15 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. (contactless fare payments is preferred)

  • Welland Bus Terminal, every day from 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Fort Erie - Niagara Falls Link

Fort Erie - Niagara Falls Link is a $3.50 fare. If transferring to another Niagara Region Transit bus, the regular fare applies instead of the $3.50.

Port Colborne - Welland Link

As of June 1, 2017, Port Colborne - Welland Link is a $4.00 fare. If transferring to another Niagara Region Transit bus, the regular fare applies instead of the $4.00.

CNIB Cardholders

Residents who are also CNIB cardholders (formerly Canadian National Institute for the Blind) may show their card and ride Niagara Region Transit for free. Residents may also transfer to any of the local transit services for free.
