About the project
The Renown Sewage Pumping Station was constructed in 1968 and is owned and operated by Niagara Region. The Renown Sewage Pumping Station is reaching the end of its life cycle and upgrades are needed to maintain its capacity, and enhance its functionality and operation.
Niagara Region has completed a Schedule B Class Environmental Assessment for the upgrades and refurbishment of the pumping station. A detailed design Request for Proposal has been posted on Bids and Tenders and will close on Dec. 5, 2024
