Renown Sewage Pumping Station Upgrades
All Niagara Region projects

About the project

The Renown Sewage Pumping Station was constructed in 1968 and is owned and operated by Niagara Region. The Renown Sewage Pumping Station is reaching the end of its life cycle and upgrades are needed to maintain its capacity, and enhance its functionality and operation.

Niagara Region is completing a Schedule B Class Environmental Assessment for the upgrades and refurbishment of the pumping station. The Class Environmental Assessment will define the problem statement, develop and evaluate potential design alternatives, and select a preferred alternative that will be carried into the detailed design stage.
