St. Paul Street West - CN Rail Bridge Replacement

Niagara Region is proceeding with planning and designing the CN Rail bridge on St. Paul St. West in St. Catharines. This is to replace the aging bridge at Great Western St., known as the 'humpback bridge', to allow for safer access to the GO Station.

Replacement of the existing St. Paul St. West CN Rail bridge, constructed circa 1922, will be undertaken through a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Schedule 'B' process.

The Region will work closely with the City of St. Catharines and CN Rail to ensure all aspects of the area are factored into the future solution.
