Niagara Region is undertaking a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, including a detailed transportation assessment for Regional Road 43 (Bridge St.), Erie Ave., Park St., and Zimmerman Ave. in Niagara Falls. R. J. Burnside and Associates has been retained to undertake this study on behalf of Niagara Region.
Following the planning phase, a separate assignment will be initiated to implement the improvements approved through the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.
Within the vicinity of the Niagara Falls GO Transit Station, this study will identify and obtain approval for transportation and municipal infrastructure improvements to support multi-modal travel and improve road-user safety.
Identified within Niagara Region’s Transportation Master Plan, this study will determine suitable improvements along Regional Road 43 (Bridge St.) between Victoria Ave. and River Rd.
Partnering with the City of Niagara Falls, the study will also consider improvements along Erie Ave. between Bridge St. and Queen St., Park St. between Ontario Ave. and Zimmerman Ave., and Zimmerman Ave. between Bridge St. and Park St. The study will consider:
