About the project

Niagara Region is undertaking a conceptual design for the Bal Harbour Pumping Station electrical upgrades located at 29B Cheval Dr. in Grimsby.

This project will install electrical cabinets and a small, quiet generator that services the station above the existing pump station chamber. This will promote easier access and the health and safety of operations and maintenance staff. These upgrades will improve the reliability of the pump station equipment in the case of utility power failure and wet weather flooding event.

The project design will consider the aesthetics of the station. Professional landscape architectural services will give a cohesive and functional layout for the new electrical equipment.
