Regional Holiday Hours - Canada Day

Many Niagara Region facilities are closed to the public due to COVID-19. See all service changes and cancellations due to COVID-19.

Niagara Region offices and facilities will be closed for Canada Day on Friday, July 1, including:

  • Administrative offices
  • Sexual health clinics
  • Public health
  • Child care centres
  • COVID-19 Info-Line phone line and live chat

Garbage, recycling and organics collection

There are no changes to curbside collection due to the holiday.

Niagara Region Transit, Niagara Specialized Transit and NRT OnDemand will not be operating on July 1.
