Groundbreaking of new Niagara Regional Police 1 District site

Media members are invited to the formal groundbreaking ceremony of the new Niagara Region Police Service (NRPS) 1 District facility in St. Catharines. The new 31,000 sq. ft. facility is being constructed on a 2.96 acre site at 198 Welland Ave. in St. Catharines. With the project already underway, the ceremony will be recognizing the ongoing construction of the site.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 4 at 11 a.m.

WHERE: NRPS 1 District Building Site, entering on the corner of Niagara Street and North Street, St. Catharines.

WHO: Regional Chair Jim Bradley, CAO Ron Tripp, NRPS Police Chief Bryan MacCulloch, Regional Municipality of Niagara Police Services Board Chair Kenneth Gansel and other community stakeholders.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: There will be photo and interview opportunities with attendees.
