Niagara Region Public Health and Emergency Services are investigating cases of COVID-19 related to a Halloween party at a Niagara Falls hotel. As part of contact tracing efforts, Public Health is asking attendees of the party who have not been contacted by Niagara Region Public Health to contact our COVID-19 Info Line for important information.

During this time of higher circulation of COVID-19, Public Health continues to urge everyone to curtail their in-person social interactions to just their households and persons who are essential to maintaining physical and mental health (e.g. caregivers). Social interactions allow COVID-19 to spread more widely, and put those most vulnerable in our society at risk. Parties and social gatherings with persons outside of our household put our entire community at risk, and increase the likelihood that further restrictions on our local businesses will need to be enacted by the province to disrupt unsafe social interactions.
