Store the tick in a clear, dry container or in a double resealable plastic bag.

Ticks should be brought by the patient to Public Health for identification. The patient will be asked to fill out a Tick Submission form when they drop off the tick.
Once the tick has been identified by Public Health, the patient will be notified by either a Public Health inspector or a registered nurse.
