Sector-Specific Business Guidelines

To reduce the spread of COVID-19 throughout the province, the Ontario government in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts have declared a second provincial emergency.

As of Jan. 14, a stay at home order is in effect. This means everyone needs to stay home except for essential purposes, such as:

  • Going to the grovery store or pharmacy
  • Getting health care services
  • Exercise
  • Essential work

The declaration of the second provincial emergency means that the COVID-19 response framework is paused.

The provincewide shutdown will continue with stronger public health and workplace safety measures.
