REACT job summary
If you are an innovative thinker, an individual who loves sharing ideas, and enjoys working with others, then we have the job for you! Niagara Region Public Health's youth-led action group, REACT, will be accepting applications for the paid peer leader positions. As a member of REACT, you will have the unique opportunity to work within the community and on our Instagram page to advocate for healthy lifestyles. You will work with your peers and Public Health professionals focusing on the following critical topic areas in our community: Mental Well-Being, Sexual Health, Substance misuse. All positions require motivated and inspired individuals who are committed to promoting and advocating on behalf of the well-being of Niagara's youth
Frequent training opportunities are offered to all REACT team members. You will grow as a leader in the position. Minimum of 6 hours/week. This includes on a weekly basis working two consistent weeknight shifts (e.g., 4:30 p.m. &ndash 7:30 p.m).
Recruitment process consists of the following: Complete the online application form and send a resume. Answer a series of questions. (this will be sent after the posting closes and we review all applications) Participate in a group interview.
