Councillor Terry Ugulini is serving his first term on regional council in his capacity as mayor of the City of Thorold.
He served as a councillor for the City of Thorold from 2014 to 2018 where he chaired the tourism and Town and Gown advisory committees. Councillor Ugulini also sat on several committees and sub-committees, including Canada 150, age-friendly initiative, downtown parking, and parks, trails and recreation. He was also the Thorold Seniors' Centre liaison.
As an active community member, Councillor Ugulini is a long time minor hockey coach, as well as an avid cyclist and multi-year participant in the Big Move Cancer Ride. He has worked on many fundraising initiatives for sports teams and local charities and is a member of:
Councillor Ugulini is a Mohawk College graduate from the instrumentation program. He retired from Resolute Forest Products, Thorold Division after 26 years as an instrumentation and control technician. He is a member of the Ontario College of Trades and served 22 years as president / business manager of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers: Local 914.
