Councillor Sandie Bellows is serving her first term on regional council. She previously served as a councillor for the City of St. Catharines representing Grantham Ward from 2014 to 2018.
She has spent most of her career in sales and business development, including as a senior account executive at Telus. She was also the general manager for CNN Staffing Solutions in St. Catharines. She currently works as a sales and business development consultant.

Councillor Bellows enjoys spending time enhancing outdoor parks and community areas by supporting Friends of Walkers Creek and their tree planting with schools. She also loves to attend and support the Older Adult Centre dances and art shows. She is involved in many events throughout her community and can be seen at the Market most Saturdays.
She has over two decades of experience as a public speaker and victims’ rights advocate. She has been a keynote speaker for many government and law enforcement agencies, including conferences for the Ontario and Canadian Police Chiefs, hostage negotiators, victim services, Canadian American law enforcement agencies, and was invited by Prime Minister Harper to the Victims Bill of Rights ceremony.

In 2018, Councillor Bellows was appointed as a commissioner on the Niagara Parks Board of Commissioners. She is a graduate of Grantham High School and holds a certificate in sales and merchandising from Seneca College in Toronto. She was a member of the Presidents Club at Telus for many years, excelling in top sales for Canada. She also holds her life insurance licence for Ontario.
She was born and raised in St Catharines. Her late father Steve worked at General Motors and her mom Florence was a stay at home mom. Her siblings are Stephen, Julie and Brian. She is the proud mother of two beautiful sons, Spencer and Colton.
