Councillor Peter Nicholson is serving his first term on regional council. He has also volunteered on various federal and provincial campaigns.
Councillor Nicholson has practiced real estate, estate and business law in Niagara since 2010 and has taught part-time at Niagara College for several years. He is also a lector and volunteer at St. Patrick Parish in Niagara Falls and has been a board member for the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Foundation. He enjoys attending and participating in the Niagara Falls Terry Fox Run and the annual Walk for Alzheimer's.
He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, and has an honours bachelor of commerce degree from Queen’s University and bachelor of law degree from Western University.
Councillor Nicholson is an avid runner and enjoys watching and playing basketball, keeping active and spending time outdoors with his wife and rescue dog.
