Eco-ambassador Program

We are looking for residents who live in apartment buildings and are passionate about recycling to join the volunteer Eco-ambassador program.

The goal of the program is to help volunteers improve recycling and organic diversion in their apartment buildings.

Eco-Ambassador volunteers will:

Attend a workshop led by Niagara Region Waste Management staff
Receive training on how to start programs that help improve recycling in their buildings
Receive on-going support from Niagara Region; discuss improvements and challenges they are experiencing

This is a perfect opportunity for:

Residents wishing to 'green' their buildings
High school students looking to gain volunteer experience and complete community service hours
Anyone interested in getting more involved in their community
