Notice to residents: Overnight water disruption in Fenwick and road closure for Canboro Road watermain upgrades

Niagara Region will be upgrading a watermain in Fenwick in the Town of Pelham. Construction will take place on Canboro Road between Oakridge Boulevard and Effingham Street.

 

The project will upgrade the existing watermain that provides safe, reliable drinking water to Fenwick residents. This upgrade will fix aging infrastructure and support future growth in the area.

 

Replacing the watermain now is necessary as aging infrastructure could fail in the future. This could cause problems for the Fenwick community.

 

 

The scheduled work and water disruption will happen overnight between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Monday, March 23 and on Tuesday, March 24. Homes and businesses in Fenwick may be affected during these hours.

 

During the overnight work, Canboro Road will be closed between Oakridge Boulevard and Effingham Street.

 

Lane reductions will be in place at the Canboro Road and Effingham Street intersection from March 23 to April 9 while the project is completed.
