Road closures due to Remembrance Day ceremonies in Niagara

​The following road closures are necessary for Remembrance Day ceremonies in Niagara.

St. Catharines
Sunday, Nov. 9: Port Dalhousie Remembrance Day Parade
10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Lakeport Road / Lock Street / Main Street (Regional Road 87) between Ann Street and Lakeport Road (Regional Road 87) in the City of St. Catharines will be closed to through traffic on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

• No detour route as this is a rolling closure

Emergency Services will have access during the closure.

St. Catharines
Tuesday, Nov. 11: Royal Canadian Legion 24 Remembrance Day Parade
9:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

Ontario Street (Regional Road 42) between Church Street and St. Paul Street W (Regional Road 81) as well as St. Paul Street W (Regional Road 81) between Memorial Park and Ontario Street (Regional Road 42) in the City of St. Catharines will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

• No detour route as this is a rolling closure

Emergency Services will have access during the closure.

Grimsby
Tuesday, Nov. 11: Grimsby Remembrance Day Ceremony
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Main Street W (Regional Road 81) between Livingston Avenue (Regional Road 512) and Elm Street in the Town of Grimsby will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

• Elm Street > Mountain Street (Regional Road 12) > Main Street W (Regional Road 81)

Emergency Services will have access during the closure. Businesses and residents will have access during the closure but may be directed to take an alternate route to get to their destination.
