Pre-construction notice to residents: Twenty Mile Creek Bridge replacement on King Street (Regional Road 81) in Lincoln

Niagara Region is replacing the bridge over Twenty Mile Creek in the Jordan area between Nineteenth Street and Brookside Drive.

This project will be carried out on behalf of Niagara Region by Urban Link. Construction is scheduled to start on Jan. 20 and is expected to be completed by the end of summer of 2026, weather permitting.

A temporary single-lane bridge will be installed to ensure access through the valley. Traffic will be controlled by signals but delays are expected. Some full road closures will be needed during the project with detours posted in advance. Pedestrian access over the bridge may not always be available and notices will be provided onsite and online.

Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions to businesses, residents and pedestrians. If your driveway access is affected, Niagara Region staff will contact you in advance to discuss details.
