Portage Road (Regional Road 61) between Niagara River Parkway and Stanley Avenue (Regional Road 102)​ will be closed to through traffic from ​Sept. 3 to Nov. 29, 2024.

The road closure is for the detour of motorists off of Highway 405.

  • Eastbound detour: Niagara Townline Road (Regional Road 61) > Four Mile Creek Road (Regional Road 100) > York Road (Regional Road 81) > Niagara River Parkway
  • Westbound detour: Niagara River Parkway > York Road (Regional Road 81) > Four Mile Creek Road (Regional Road 100) > Niagara Townline Road (Regional Road 61)

Emergency services will have through access during the closure.
