Niagara EMS recognizes five-year old child’s actions to help family member

Niagara Emergency Medical Services (NEMS) will be recognizing the courageous actions of a five-year-old girl who sought help for a family member who required medical assistance, and cared for them until paramedics arrived.  

NEMS will also recognize the accomplishments of staff who have been involved with the re-accreditation of the communications centre, the implementation of an enhanced system upgrade in the communications centre (which is a prototype for the province), Medical Director Dr. Doug Munkley, for 30 years of dedication to paramedicine, paramedic retirements, and much more.
