Community Involvement

  • Partnership with Brock University, Niagara College and the District School Board of Niagara for student clinical experience and co-op programs
  • Participation in the rural medicine component of the University of Ottawa's medical school - a one-week commitment to have five second year med students in the home
  • Visiting palliative care volunteers
  • Very active Auxiliary and Family Advisory Council who enhance life at the home through donations for additional equipment and fundraising events
