2023 Licensed Child Care Salary Survey Results for Niagara
Each year, Niagara Region Children's Services collects salary information through the Operator Management System to get a snapshot of salaries paid to selected positions in the early learning sector.
The information in the graphs represents hourly wages in Niagara's early learning and child care system.
Children's Services uses this information to help with the management of funding to address system sustainability, pressures, fulfill mandatory reporting requirements to the Ministry of Education, and to monitor employment trends in Niagara's child care sector.
Child care agencies can use the information when reviewing and setting their salary rates up to cost escalation. Results include licensed child care, special needs resourcing and EarlyON.
