In-office Education
To support you in practice, request a consultation from a public health nurse. The goals of the consultation would be to:
- Provide practical strategies for supporting mothers to be successful with breastfeeding resulting in increased initiation, exclusivity and duration rates
- Provide information to ensure families are making informed decisions related to infant feeding (breastfeeding, formula feeding or combination feeding)
- Community resources and referrals for families and how to access them
