Due diligence practices respecting contracted work are required to ensure that all employees, including employees of contractors and self-employed contractors at any of the Region's workplace locations, are working in accordance with Niagara Region and legislated standards and guidelines.
To accomplish this, service contractors who generally provide their services on an ad hoc basis (and who are typically hired periodically for short term assignments) are required to register their company and keep their information up to date in Niagara Region's Contractor Self-Service Database.
The database will be the primary source of contractor information for Niagara Region representatives.
